Oakland Wildfire Prevention Zone District....a $53 million dollar ripoff.

In case there was any doubt, if this measure passes it will be one of the largest rip offs of Oakland citizens in recent history. According to the text of the measure the City would collect $2,670,00 in 2025-2026. This means that over the life of this district the City would be collecting $53,400,000 from citizens in the affected area. To do what? Implement a native plant restoration agenda that would do little if anything to reduce wildfire risk. This measure must be defeated.
